Dentro del marco de la exposición de eléctronica de consumo más grande de América, conocida como CES, Robbie Bach, responsable de la división multimedia de Microsoft, donde el encaja el Xbox 360 y todo lo relacionado con él, dejó en claro que la consola no se rediseñará para incluir alguna unidad Blu-Ray y hacerlo más competitivo frente al PlayStation 3.

Sus palabras fueron: “Cuando le preguntas a la gente en qué quieren tener con Xbox, el Blu-ray ocupa una posición muy inferior en la lista. El segundo aspecto es que desde una perspectiva técnica, no nos ayudaría de nada en relación a la base de Xbox, que es el juego.” Ha dicho.

Aún nos preguntamos como resolverá en el futuro Microsoft el problema de almacenamiento… ¿descargas en línea y disco duros más grandes? ¿Cuál es tu opinión en esto?

Xbox 360 Edición Resident Evil 5

Hace poco te presentamos la caja del juego Resident Evil 5 para Xbox 360 y en esta ocasión te mostramos la consola de edición especial del juego. En realidad nos extraña como es que la consola no trae ningún diseño alusivo al juego, como lo vimos con, por ejemplo, la edición de Halo 3, y en su lugar encontramos una consola normal de las blancas, con un disco duro de 60 GB, una diadema, un control inalámbrico y uno multimedia del sencillo. Viene acompañado, obvio, del juego Resident Evil 5 y un disco adicional con la música del juego en una bonita caja metálica. Adicional a eso recibirán un cupón para descargar un tema para el dashboard o interfase, alusivo al juego, claro. ¿El precio? Cerca de 390 dólares. ¿Lo triste? Solo está anunciada para Japón.
